Building Plan Submission

This service is required:

• A new building is proposed.
• Additions & Alterations (A&A) works are planned.
• Change of use of a building is proposed.
• Regularization of existing works is required.
• Authority approval is required prior to construction commencement

Our scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

• Review of project brief and statutory requirements.
• Site review and assessment of existing drawings (if applicable).
• Preparation of architectural drawings for submission.
• Coordination with structural, MEP, fire safety, and other relevant consultants.
• Code compliance review based on applicable building regulations.
• Preparation and completion of statutory submission forms.
• Online submission to relevant authority.
• Liaison with authority officers during plan review.
• Addressing authority comments and preparing revised drawings.
• Resubmission until approval is obtained.
• Obtaining Building Plan Approval / Written Permission.

• Complete set of Building Plan submission drawings (PDF and/or hardcopy as required).
• Submission forms and supporting documents.\
• Records of submission and authority correspondence.
• Approved plans / Written Permission from authority (upon approval).

To proceed, the following information is typically required:

• Copy of land title / ownership documents.
• Latest survey plan and site information.
• Existing approved drawings (if applicable).
• Client’s project brief and space requirements.
• Proposed construction budget (if available).
• Appointment of other required consultants (if not under our scope).
• Any previous authority correspondence related to the project.

• Preparation of submission drawings: 3–6 weeks
• Authority review period: 4–12 weeks (depending on authority)
• Response to comments & resubmission: 2–4 weeks per cycle

Total estimated duration: Approximately 2–5 months until approval.
